The support being provided by 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐚 𝐩𝐥𝐜 to the extra-curricular programme of activities during the Klabb 3-16 service, has been expanded further as from this term.

Further to the Sustainability Textiles programme at the Zabbar B and Mosta Klabb 3-17 Centres, this term BOV is sponsoring the students at the Hamrun Centres to benefit from a dance course, designed to introduce the students to the joy and basic techniques of dance.

The dance tutor 𝐌𝐬 𝐘𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐳𝐨𝐧 has started the course with the students, leading them through creative movement, rhythm, and coordination exercises, to enable them to develop their motor skills, body awareness, musicality, and self-expression.

While each session will cover different dance styles, the first session was an introduction based on Icebreaker activities to build trust and create a positive group dynamic, fun warm-up exercises, and basic stretches and body movements to improve flexibility and coordination. The first session ended with a lively participation in the Queen’s song 𝐖𝐞 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐘𝐨𝐮, where each student was responsible for a specific contribution to the rhythm and buzz of this classic number.

Well done students at Klabb 3-16 Hamrun, and keep up your joyful enthusiasm to learn and develop your talents.
