The support being provided by ๐๐๐ง๐ค ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ to the extra-curricular programme of activities during the Klabb 3-16 service, has been expanded further as from this term.
Further to the Sustainability Textiles programme at the Zabbar B and Mosta Klabb 3-17 Centres, this term BOV is sponsoring the students at the Hamrun Centres to benefit from a dance course, designed to introduce the students to the joy and basic techniques of dance.
The dance tutor ๐๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง ๐
๐๐ฅ๐ณ๐จ๐ง has started the course with the students, leading them through creative movement, rhythm, and coordination exercises, to enable them to develop their motor skills, body awareness, musicality, and self-expression.
While each session will cover different dance styles, the first session was an introduction based on Icebreaker activities to build trust and create a positive group dynamic, fun warm-up exercises, and basic stretches and body movements to improve flexibility and coordination. The first session ended with a lively participation in the Queenโs song ๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐๐ค ๐๐จ๐ฎ, where each student was responsible for a specific contribution to the rhythm and buzz of this classic number.
Well done students at Klabb 3-16 Hamrun, and keep up your joyful enthusiasm to learn and develop your talents.
